Aspect designs, develops and manufactures innovative medical-grade (1-1.5 Tesla), desktop-size, high-resolution Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) based system for laboratories and pre-clinical research centers performing in-vivo small animal imaging and in-vitro studies. In addition, a MRI system is also being developed for human extremities applications, with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (wrist) as the first medical application.

person Mr. Uri Rapoport, Founder & CEO
Mr. Rapoport is a leading expert in permanent magnet technology and a serial entrepreneur experienced in bringing creative inventions into the market. He founded and managed several Israeli and US companies in the fields of NMR and MRI and has sold two companies to US corporations. He was awarded many worldwide and US patents in the NMR, MRI, GPS and other fields.

 
person Dr. Ehud Katznelson, Co-Founder & CTO
Dr. Katznelson is a physicist and a worldwide leading MRI expert. He was the co-founder, CTO, inventor and designer of all the MRI products of Odin Medical Technologies - a MRI company. Previously, he was a Senior MRI Magnet Designer for Elscint (acquired by General Electric). He invented and built the twin-gradient coils concept used today by General Electric's MRI Division. Dr. Katznelson was awarded many worldwide and US patents in the MRI field.

 
person Oz Bornstein, General Manager Pre-clinical
Mr. Bornstein has extensive managerial, BD and financial experience in the international bio-medical sector in general, and in imaging tools for the pre-clinical market, in particular. He co-founded two biotech companies, led the establishment of medical imaging division at Orbotech (a Nasdaq company), initiated new business initiatives for pre-clinical applications and was a Senior Executive at Discount Investments, Israel's largest active investment corporation.

 
person Robert Lenkinski, Ph.D., Scientific Advisor,
Dr. Lenkinski is a Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and a Vice-Chairman and Director of Radiology Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. One of his major research interests is in clinical applications of in vivo Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy. Dr Lenkinski is also developing in vivo multinuclear MR imaging methods. A more recent area of interest has been molecular imaging. He received his Ph.D in Chemistry at the University of Houston. He has authored many articles in peer-reviewed journals and was awarded several patents.

 
person Peter Bendel, Ph.D., Scientific Advisor
Dr. Peter Bendel is a Senior Staff Researcher at the Weizmann Institute of Science, where he supervises the NMR and MRI facilities in the Department of Chemical Research Support. He has over 30 years of experience in the MRI field, including work as R&D physicist at Elscint, and as visiting scientist at the University of Tennessee Hospital and the Corporate research of Exxon-Mobil.
